Simple question: how do I start a script that must be run as root at
Yes.
I don't want to be impolite, but I'd like to ask you to read the manuals
_before_ you post to this list.
He's right, you know.
I'll answer for you...
place the entry in /etc/rc.d/rc.local...
e.g. you want to run the script "/root/foo.sh"
edit the /etc/rc.d/rc.local and enter:
/root/foo.sh
then save...
I do not really understand why this simple question could not be
answered rather than using the lame RTFM...
Thank you, Alex, for such a simple approach. It was refreshing to see.
