As some may have heard, the University of North Texas was
compromised, and 38,607 student's information must be
considered at risk. Included would be telephone numbers,
Social Security numbers, addresses, names, and student ID
numbers.
A spokeswoman for the university stated in an on-tv interview
that it was not unusual for the university to have 1.2 million
or more unsuccessful probes in any 24 hour period.
