So, I deleted KDE and K3b (rpm -e) then reinstalled both RPMs from the DVD: > > rpm -ivh kdebase-3.4.0-5.i386.rpm k3b-0.11.23-3.i386.rpm > > Still the same error message! > > FWIW: > rpm -q qt > qt-3.3.4-14 And "rpm -q kdelibs"? /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 is in kdelibs, not in kdebase. It's really much more interesting to find out what version of KDE is installed on your computer instead of doing things like rpm -e plus reinstalling packages. Don't you want to know what the state of your installation is? Even with a partial upgrade of FC3 to FC4, you should be able to "fix" the upgrade with "yum update". -- Michael Schwendt <mschwendt@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Fedora Core release 5 (Development) - Linux 2.6.12-1.1432_FC5 loadavg: 1.04 1.08 0.67
