Hi, i had builded my linux kernel with bootsplash feature. it is booting perfectly if i won't run splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/current/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg >> /boot/initrd.splash but it is not desplaying the silent bootsplash image ,instead of that it is desplying FC3 image. when i use above splash command it is not at all booting and giving error that Kernal panic -not syncing :VFS:unable to mount root fs on unknown -block(0,0) so what shall i do. whether i need to change in grub.conf and one more thing is how to run the grub? bcoz lilo command is not running in FC3. i hope u people can help me. regards Harsha
