Yes, random garbage worked.   But why?  a know bug/feature?

When the CD1 boots and you are asked for the install command, then enter
a random "garbage". You then will get a complaint that the instruction
(i.e. foobarbaz) can't be understand. Then just press enter ... and the
install will beginn (certainly).
