Which protocol did you use to connect from your Fedora machine to the printer server? If you used samba to share the printer could you have used lpd for the fc to fc print sharing? If so you will need to open up the firewall to allow lpr printing. You can quickly test this by shutting down iptables on the print server. You also need to make sure you have the print server listening on the correct protocol for the printer. -- Scot L.
