Try putting "options lockd tcpport=4001 udpport=4001" inHi
/etc/modprobe.conf and rebooting to force lockd to use port 4001.
I did that, but while booting, I get the following:
date hostname kernel: lockd: Unknown parameter 'tcpport'
Any ideas?
With kind regards

I have attached an OpenOffice writer document on the topic that I used recently in a brief lesson.
This works in FC3 and FC4. Chris
