Re: Is it worth installing FC4?

I've been happy with FC4 so far... There have been issues, but this has been one of the smoother upgrades that I've done (whether with Linux or Win)...

I started with Linux in 1996 with Slackware 96, and have used (at various times): Slackware, Red Hat, Mandrake, Caldera, Debian, Corel, a few of the single-disc firewall distros, and now FC3 and FC4. Without a doubt, I have been most comfortable with FC, and FC4 has provided sufficient improvement to make the upgrade worthwhile (if only for PHP5 and MySql 4).

Hi all, I want to install linux on an extra PC that I have in order to learn I already have FC3 but then read the news about FC4 coming out and held out on installing until I got FC4. I have however read that many have problems and complaints about FC4.

Can anybody let me know if it's worth waiting a bit longer for a newer build of FC4 or should I install FC3 instead or is it ok to install FC4.

Thank's for any and all info

Cheers,
Pedro.
