I keep a live tree of both the Fedora install > discs as well as the SRPMS discs (and updates) that I can access at any > time. I do this by putting the DVD ISO on a web server (might be the same server as the NFS server for installs), loopback mounting it and running "createrepo ." in the directory above where the DVD ISO is mounted. I then have a local yum repository that I can point my machines at for quick local installs using "yum install packagename". This uses hardly any extra disk space over and above that needed for the DVD ISO itself. Paul. -- Paul Howarth <paul@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
