VMware and Fedora Core 4

I recently upgraded my laptop from FC3 to FC4 (run the upgrade option)

Vmware will not start because of the change in kernel
it is asking for the directory that the c header files are in

I tried googling, searching and searching, but no luck

I pulled down the kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.src.rpm, and installed using

rpm -ivh kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.src.rpm

It seemed to install.......... but where are those pesky c header files 
for kernel 2.6.11??

Please help, someone.......... It will be my birthday wish come true!!!!
