Do you know where I can get pgadmin3 in compiled form for RHEv3? 
Sorry, I should have mentioned pgadmin3 was the major hangup.  I
was up until 1:30 last night tring to make all the work.  Kept
finding more things I had to down load inorder to coompile
pgadmin.

Just go to one of the ftp mirrors, for example
ftp://ftp.nl.postgresql.org/pub/mirror/postgresql/binary/v8.0.3/linux/rpms/

Keep in mind that you have to download and install updates yourself;
they won't be automatically updated. No idea if there's a yum
repository for pgsql...
