Any updates for FC2 will now come from fedoralegacy.org (have you configured yum to use the fedoralegacy repo?), and they'll be limited to security updates in the main.
yes fedoralegacy is enabled in apt and yum config.
The third-party repos may still provide FC2 updates though; whether or not they do will be a matter of policy for each repo.
So that means, if for example, a new squid proxy is out, i don't get that one?
Not unless a third-party packager provides it. Fedora developers stop working on FC2 so that they can put more effort into FC3 and FC4. The same will happen to FC3 when FC5 test release 3 comes out.
> Can i install FC3 packages on FC2?
Possibly, if it does not depend on anything that is not included or sufficiently up to date in FC2.
