I haven't subscribed to fedora-devel, but I might.  this list has more
than enough volume for me.

But, a post to fedora-devel wouldn't reach the users, fedora-user does
that.  hence, wouldn't such a request on fedora-devel be a voice in
the wilderness?  it's akin to writing a letter to your politician
versus drafting a petition, if you will.  the "target audience" isn't
on the fedora-devel list, in my opinion, but fedora-user.
