ethtool is the ticket, I think. When I query the interface it shows it running in half-duplex. If I do ethtool -s eth0 duplex full ... my network goes away and ethtool shows an unknown duplex mode. Changed the cable as well in case it's a cable problem -- no help. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark
