Hello all,

I am running FC2 for a long time on my production server. The server
is running a commercial database system that does not do very well
under the 2.6.10 and 2.6.11 kernels of FC2, I'm still running on
2.6.9. With the release of FC4, the older FC2 release will move into
retirement and I suppose there are no more updates forthcoming.

I recently was made aware of CentOS, a RHEL clone and installed it on
a test machine where it is running very stable and updates are
available as well as an acceptable kernel (2.6.9-5).

I am now considering to cross-grade the FC2 box to CentOS 4.0.

Has anybody else do that? If so, what are you experiences and does it
work?

Best regards,
Chris
