FC3 ntpd log-messages

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,
I'm getting things like:

May 18 12:05:07 ls1 ntpd[4129]: synchronized to 10.1.0.0, stratum 3
May 18 12:05:07 ls1 ntpd[4129]: kernel time sync disabled 0041
May 18 12:10:35 ls1 ntpd[4129]: kernel time sync enabled 0001

In /var/log/messages. Any idea what these mean, or where I can find out?
The 'ntpd System log messages' pages on www.htp.org dont help.

10.1.0.0 is our local ntp server, and is successfully being
used by many systems without problems.

Cheers,
Terry.
