Anyone know of a good tool to copy an entire Linux partition (i.e. a red hat vmware instance under windows) so that it will successfully boot as A) a restore and B) on another identical box.
I'd use dd. Or cp. Or scp.
Possibly, it will need some reconfiguration at its destination, but that depends on information you didn't supply.
