Can anyone suggest a particular CURRENT laptop model? http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/321957-64295-89315-321838- f33-395654.html [link to hp site] Clicking the configre/purchase button throws an error message right now...couldn't say why. But maybe it's worth a call? says it comes pre- installed with choice of windoze or Suse, so I would think Fedora would work OK. I've heard good things about the HP Pavilion zd8000 as well [previous post], also the Dell800m [not sure it's still current]. I have an older Toshiba that is absolutely painless to install, I'm looking at new models now. I'm shopping also and I've seen good things at IBM's stie as well.
