I accidentally blew away my launch panel toolbar. I have been able to replace everything except the green/red ball that indicates new updates available. I suspect is is simple but I haven't been able to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
Make sure you have a "notification area" on your panel, then run "red Hat Network Alert Icon", which I think is on the "System Tools" menu in gnome.
