I'd recommend installing backuppc (http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/) on a fast desktop machine with a big cheap drive added since most of the work happens at night. The setup can be a little tricky but once installed it takes care of itself and makes backups completely painless. It's biggest advantage over other systems is that it uses compression and a scheme that hard-links all duplicate copies to make it possible to keep 5-10x more data on-line in a given amount of space. -- Les Mikesell les@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
