On the composer window, put your cursor on the To: field. Then right click. Do you see an "Edit Recent Addresses" ? I am asking because I use newer version of KMail from kde-redhat project. I don't know if this would work on Kmail shipped with FC 3. I always though that the Recent Addresses is stored in the ~/.kde/share/apps/config/kmailrc file (search for "Recent Addre*"). So you can try editing that file manually too. But for some reason mine doesn't have recent addresses there. Not sure if the newer kmail changed the way they stored this addresses. HTH.
