If a Visor is very similar to a Zire than yes. The module is probably
loaded automagically. I used to gnome-pilot tools to configure the device.
The problem is that the access rights of the device are set in such a way
that as user you can't access it. You can solve that by putting yourself
in the same group as the device is registered to.
Then the gnome tools should work (to make backups at least).
