Can't I just specify > 'local:/var/run/clamav/clamav-milter.sock'? I am not sure whether I understand your question correctly. "unix" and "local" while specifying the socket patch are equivalent. You can use both/either. The correct form of a milter entry in sendmail.mc I pasted (see above). In a different reply I too had pasted the content of my /etc/sysconfig/clamav-milter file. > Saurabh.
