That's a good question: running "mount" just shows: /dev/sda3 on /tmp type ext3 (rw) but /etc/fstab has: /dev/sda3 /tmp ext3 defaults,noexec,nosuid So does that mean that noexec is enabled even though mount isn't showing it?
