Have you tried booting your system with the rescue CD? If you have the CD and it will boot the system, you could then edit /etc/inittab on your harddrive to provide for booting into a console windowAaron, and anyone else reading,
I have been doing some digging, and I believe the problem may be related to the graphics card and the hardware discovery. The item that appears to be the bug is that Anaconda comes up with it's graphical install fine, but after reboot the system is unable to start the x server. Believe it may have to do with the funky onboard via graphics setup on this mobo.
Still not sure why this does not work the same a the anaconda gtraphical mode configuration, but will try an addon graphics card to check.
any other suggestions, send them on.

/etc/inittab id:3:initdefault
Then working from cli you might be able to run system-config-display and configure to something that will allow use of the X window system.
