How about /etc/X11/xorg.conf ? With the change to x.org from XFree86, now Fedora creates /etc/X11/xorg.conf in place of /etc/X11/XF86Config.

Try running system-config-display, this should regenerate
/etc/X11/xorg.conf and away you go.
