For home files, try
  du -kSx /home | sort -nr | less
to find large directories, and
  find /home -type f -ls | sort -nr +4 | less
for individual large files.

To find large packages, try
  rpm -q --queryformat '%{SIZE} %{N} %{V} %{R} %{SUMMARY}\n' -a | sort -nr | less
and remove the ones you don't need.
