Hi all,
I am going to buy a modem. before that I appreciate your comments on
this.
what would be the most suitable modem for FC3? (for serial Interface).

I use a US Robotics hardware modem on a PCI card.
Well, I don't use it anymore - but I use to. The box it came in had a penguin on it and specified it worked with Linux.

Anyway - if an internal modem says it requires Windows, good chance its a winmodem - sometimes they work in Linux, often they don't. External modems that connect to a real serial port almost always just work with Linux.
