Hi:
Thanks for the reply!!! I tryed that, and it didn't do
anything. In the message, I said it WASN'T memory, because I
purchased new memory, and it still didn't work.
The fact that the memory is new is not an ironclad guarantee that its good. Thats why we will always recommend, in suspect cases, at least a 24 hour run of memtest86.
memtest86 will also check a few other things as it starts up, so please do pay attention to the stuff in the upper left hand corner of its screen as it starts.
I even tested my dads memory, which DOES work, and still didn't work. So I have
reasons to believe the problem is either with the motherboard, or
the CPU. Any ideas of which? I'm trying to run a site with this
server, and I need to find a solution. Any other suggestions are
greatly appreciated, thanks!!! :)

I once had a similar problem, memory can play a big role. Try
looking at the DRAM timing in your bios. Often a change from 2 to
3 can fix a problem like this.
Ken, you wrote earlier that your Dad's machine was "almost" identical" to your own, but did not elaborate as to how they differed.
Do the two machines have the same bios version?
