Maybe this is obsolete, but I have "options ide-cd dma=1" in
my /etc/modprobe.conf. Also I previously had "hdparm -d1 -X68" on my
Plextor 716 drive and burned DVDs had errors, but with "hdparm -d1 -X66"
everything seems to work correctly.
