Mount removable devices via right-click menu?

In FC3 running GNOME, is there any way I can re-enable the old behaviour 
of allowing mount of removable devices via the desktop right-click menu. 
I think this feature is a lot, well, user-friendlier than the new 
"user-friendly" Computer icon interface... With the latter, I have to 
track down a possibly hidden icon, open a window, then also hit the 
correct icon iside that window, before I can actually access the UI to 
get the job done. A lot more cumbersome than just clicking anywhere on 
the desktop...

Anyhow, is perhaps the old behaviour available via a "hidden" pref or 
something?

And no, I'm not too fond of automatic mount.

And I'd really like to be able to (once again) open file browser windows 
via right-click, too...
