.123 is the new file extension of Lotus 123 (since
1996 i thought). I'm not so sure about the 80's
period, but I do know that they had .wks, .wk1, .wk4.
The problem with .123 file's is excel nor OO.o can
read them.

If you still want to convert them to OO.o or excel, I
can help I have 1-2-3 9.5 (millennium) which works
with .123 files by default (mail them to me)
