For X-cdroast Users

Several FC3 users who were acustomed to using X-cdroast, or prospective X-cdroast users, have reported protests from the program about needing scsi emulation. Assuming that X-cdroast, like K3b, is a Gui front-end for cdrecord I'm wondering if their difficulties in getting X-cdroast to work could be solved by identifying the cdrom device in /etc/cdrecord.conf as an ATA or ATAPI device as in

cdrom=ATA:1,0,0    -1    -1   burnfree
