Im really sorry - it now seems to be working. I ** can ** now ping external addresses. I do have one other stupid question though: I'd really like to do one of two things: Either 1) Name my box so that it can be seen by name on the local network. Is this possible whilst still using DHCP...? If its not: 2) How do I go about finding a free address on my LAN? Really appreciate your help - thought I'd be stuffed doing this on a Saturday! You can reach the router OK presumably? $ ping 158.234.64.1 Paul. -- Paul Howarth <paul@xxxxxxxxxxxx> -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list This e-mail and any attachment is for authorised use by the intended recipient(s) only.
