well, i don't use a proxy at the moment, this is a direct connection should i use a proxy to solve it or what ?
Can you retrieve either of the following files using your regular browser? http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/fedora-core-3 http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/updates-released-fc3
These are what up2date appears to be having problems with.
I only asked about the proxy because I thought you might be behind a firewall that was blocking your attempted connection to fedora.redhat.com.
