ibm_acpi: ec object not found

I get that error on boot up/in my laptop's dmesg. I assume it the kernel trying to load the ibm thinkpad acpi driver? when I dont have an IBM laptop. So, how do I disable this? Probably something in /etc/modprobe.conf but im not sure what...
