Hi Gaurav,

There are least three Linux-based distributed file systems that will do
what you describe:

  - Red Hat GFS :  http://www.redhat.com/software/rha/gfs/
  - Lustre :       http://clusterfs.com/
  - PVFS / PVFS2 : http://www.parl.clemson.edu/pvfs/
