If, as you say, you've successfully installed fedora and rh then you are 
running a linux kernel. If you've only just done it then one of the 
first things to do is update your system to all the latest versions. 
login as root and in a terminal type
$ yum upgrade
everything including your kernel will be updated to the latest available 
- it can take a while first time.
