Im having real trouble getting fedora to detect this drive on boot up. I have a dual boot system and have found that the bios detects this drive at every boot, and if I boot into windows, it detects the drive at every boot. However, when I boot into fedora, while the kernel is loading and going through the drives it is detecting it halts for around 5 seconds when it gets to hdc my dvd drive, doesnt detect anything and moves on. Im find that currently the drive will be detected about once in every 20 reboots, though sometimes more and sometimes less, I cant seem to find out why it gets detected those few times. I have tried using the allowcddma and ide=nodma options but they make no difference whatsoever. As far as I can see, no other errors about hdc or the dvd are given. When the drive is detected, it works as it should do. Im currently using the 2.6.10-1.766_FC3smp kernel on FC3

Googling doesnt find anything so any help would be appreciated.
