I installed Yahoo messenger in FC3 by rpm
now, when i launch it, (When i try to attempt to log in yahoo) it takes a lot of time, may be 10 minutes and says that the remote computer > > is not responding.
why this happens?

As far as your problem with Yahoo Messenger, you mayb have firewall rules in place which block it. What do you get when you run:

service iptables status

Make sure you run it as root.
