Is it a modem with a smartlink chipset? or a modem that could be supported by slmodem-2.9.X. Please check http://www.linmodems.org/. Download scanModem.gz if you have not done so. # gunzip scanModem.gz # chmod +x scanModem # ./scanModem This will generate some files. Send ModemData.txt as an attachment to discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx They will provide feedback as if your modem will work in Linux. Hope this helps, Antonio __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
