Just a thought, is the line "root (hd0,0)" correct, I thought the SATA discs where known as "sd*". Should I change this line to "root (sd0,0)"? I have / on sda1. Maybe this only tells you the truth about my Grub knowledge but I take that risk :) > > From: Paul Howarth <paul@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 2005/02/07 må PM 02:59:47 GMT > To: For users of Fedora Core releases <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> > Ämne: Re: New install hangs. > > david_pettersson@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > Hi! > > > > I installed FC3 today and when I boot the computer locks. I have /boot on hda1 and / on sda1. Does anyone have a clue? Does FC3 support SATA-discs? Is it okay to have / and /boot on different discs?
