Ok, I'll use QMail for SMTP to send messages but what about some POP3 or
IMAP server to receive messages on multiple domains?

Yes - been running it for years. Do yourself a favor though, and don't 
use that link for instructions. It will lead you astray. Use 
http://www.lifewithqmail.org instead.
