Yet, it has "try new stuff out" as one of its objectives. If you're not
comfortable with that, a distro with a more conservative may be better
suited to your needs.

Yes. But it also shouldn't be treated with "this sucks / this whole distro
is broken because it doesn't work for me now / the developers are crazy".
