Not true. Windows98 is supported until at least December 2006. This was a reversal of Microsoft's posture when they found out how many 'commercial' users are out there. However, support is provided on a 'pay as you go' basis and is no longer 'free'. You can still get system updates for Windows 95, for security reasons.
