Any OS is theoretically vulnerable, although we like to hope that better
system design practices -- and better user practices -- make it less of a
threat on Linux.

That said, I'm not aware of any spyware for Linux at all, so I don't think
you need to worry about that yet. Concentrate on the afore-mentioned good
practices -- only download and install packages from repositories you trust,
and don't run as root when you don't have to (that is, almost never).
