they actually not that bad..more of just this dept uses win2k as policy...
In your case there is a reason. Visual Studio, which is development software and really needs to run on the platform it was designed for.
In my case, it is inertia and "standardization" for ease of support. Never mind that cheaper & better platforms are available.
