I have GRUB in a bad resolution at startup ; I have added this in each kernel entry : vga=791 but it does not work ! ; what is the trick ; I wish LILO used by most of the users had been retained by Fedora as the bootloader ! Regards

Can you please post your grub.conf file? I suspect that you either have an error in the file or your video card won't support that resolution in framebuffer mode.
