well i got texinfo, thanks for the correction
then installed ncurses-devl
then installed glib
but apparently glib isnt't working. gmodule or something isn't working.
My Question: Does anybody have irssi installed on FC3?

Have you installed glib-devel? As I already wrote to you, to be able to compile you need devel versions of library packages (and possibly some other packages) needed by application too.
