I installed FC3 and still found out that MP3s are still not supported. I understand the issues involved with MP3s. However, I would like to add that MP3s need not always be pirated.
The last two sentences appear to be contradictory. The issues with MP3s are to do with patents, not piracy.
Is it possible for me to play MP3s in FC3 using XMMS? I tried installing RealPlayer 10, but to no avail. I have burnt a data CD in Windows XP with MP3s. The CD is not even recognized in XMMS, RealPlayer or Noatun. I can play audio CDs just fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
